Over the last 35 years, Dr. Stein has helped build South Shore Eye Care into one of the largest ophthalmology practices in Nassau County. Dr. Stein is a well-known specialist in small incision, sutureless cataract surgery, and plays an active role in teaching this state-of-the-art procedure to other physicians. He is also certified in Laser Vision Correction.

Jonathan Benjamin, M.D., F.A.C.S.

Dr. Benjamin joined South Shore Eye Care in 1985 as our Pediatric Ophthalmology specialist. He maintains a strong general ophthalmology practice and is a specialist in small incision, sutureless cataract surgery.

Jodi Luchs, M.D., F.A.C.S.

Dr. Luchs graduated from the University of Pennsylvania and received his M.D. in 1991 from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York. He was selected for additional fellowship training in Cornea/External Disease and Refractive surgery at the prestigious Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia.

Dr. Jason Flicker graduated from Syracuse University in 1992, and received his M.D. from St. Georges University School of Medicine, during which time he was selected for clinical training at St. Joseph's Hospital in New Jersey, an affiliate of the Mount Sinai Medical Center.
